The top 12 cornrows used to be straight back with laces. We redid them to have criss cross cornrows. We also took out the rubber bands at her ends, added moisturizer and oil, and wrapped them around snaps. We will see how well the snaps stay in after a week. She loved this style only because she got to wear a headband that matched her outfit.
We got a plastic headband, wove different colors of ribbon around it, and hot glued a fake flower, petal by petal.
The cornrows held up really well and I think we can possibly get another 2 weeks out of this style.
